Appearance
Elivir appears to be of a more muscular build for an Ishgardian, although his choices in clothing may make him appear slimmer than he is. Hallmarks of past nobility include his long black hair and ear decorations; he is also of darker skin than most others of his nation. His most striking feature, however, are his dual-toned eyes: appearing a pinkish red in the center and fading to a cerulean blue around the edges.

General About
Elivir, as a former priest and inquisitor, has been involved in the church almost his entire life. Born to a minor noble house long since assimilated by a higher power, the instant he graduated from the Scholasticate he went on to join the clergy. One of the most pious men of faith, Elivir often led sermons and services, and would go out of his way to try and help the less fortunate. To Elivir, only the Fury may judge, and all would stand before Her in the end.
When the Dragonsong War continued to rage, he was inveitably selected to join the inquisitors due to his former training in swordsmanship, as well as his mastery of healing. However, conflicts arose between him and others, and while he was not expelled from the order, he was not given many missions. Instead, Elivir sought to right the wrongs his more corrupt bothers did, by essentially becoming the undertaker and providing funeral rites to all victims, innocent and proven heretics alike. He was known to approach families and friends of said victims and offer them solace, prayer, and a chance to lash out if they must.
In what was meant to be an act of kindness, Elivir was deployed as a battle chirurgeon to the frontlines. However, for eight years, he and his assigned battalion went missing, with survivors slowly trickling back into Ishgard over the years. Elivir was the last to return alive and whole.
Since his return and the end of the war, Elivir has technically renounced his placement in both clergy and inquisitors, but he still performs many errands for the church and acts of charity on it's behalf.

- Church of the Holy See: As a former member and current volunteer, Elivir is always open to speak of the Fury and offer to lead in prayer or give advice based on his view of Halone. Although he seems standoffish, he has no qualms with any race who approach him for the Fury's guidance.- War Veteran: Like many Ishgardians, Elivir was a combatant in the Dragonsong War. However, although he will give general opinions and thoughts, he speaks little of his actual time deployed, and won't speak of the years he was 'missing'. Others are free to ask him general questions, however.- Constant Frowning: Although not really a rude man, Elivir is seen with a constant frown or grimace. He flinches from touch if he sees it coming and is unexpecting it, and often braces his side when he moves.- Right Wrongs: Those who suffered from the zealotry of some of the inquisitors most likely received a visit from Elivir, presenting himself to bring some solace to those affected.- A Healer at Heart: Elivir is a trained chirurgeon and especially gifted in aetherial healing. When able, he often gives medical advice, magically heals those he can, or even write prescriptions of common medicines for those in need for no charge. He often points people to the newly established Ser Vaindreau's Grace clinic in the Firmament.- The Arts: Although 'Beaufoy' is not a known surname of the arts, his father was a leader of an opera troupe and often had his children and friends take part. You may have seen Elivir in his younger years performing operas that were considered 'controversial.'- Opposite Spectrum: Elivir keeps odd company and is often nowadays around a charmingly mysterious Viera. However, if one knows his brother Varian, who is of the Temple Knights, it's not too surprising that he ends up around more energetic and outgoing company.
